Voor een klant te Brussel zijn we op zoek naar een Azure Platform Engineer. The primary objective of this role is to lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of an Azure-based platform that integrates technologies like Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Azure OpenAI APIs, and Azure Machine Learning services. The candidate will be instrumental in advancing platform capabilities, optimizing existing processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver on defined project goals by May.
Responsibilities:
Platform Enhancements and Implementation:
o Design and develop enhancements to the existing Azure platform.
o Replicate and optimize Kubernetes-based deployments for distinct contexts (e.g., GxP and non-GxP).
o Manage the lifecycle and industrialization of Azure OpenAI APIs, including implementing service tiers and features like user quotas.
o Configure and enhance application containers to support specific functionality, such as library integrations or Java configurations
Collaboration and Coordination:
o Work closely with the project manager and cloud infrastructure teams (2-3 people, depending on scope).
o Align technical designs with infrastructure standards and organizational goals.
o Act as a liaison between IT cloud teams and project stakeholders for infrastructure planning and execution.
CI/CD Management:
o Review, execute, and optimize existing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
o Implement changes and enhancements as required for continuous improvement.
Technical Support and Testing:
o Provide basic support and troubleshooting for Python and R analytic scripts utilized by platform users.
o Test platform features and enhancements before deployment to ensure quality and functionality.
Must-Have:
o Strong knowledge of Azure technologies, including Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, and Azure Data Analytics services.
o Hands-on experience with containerization, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure design.
o Familiarity with Azure OpenAI APIs and Azure Machine Learning.
o Basic scripting knowledge in Python and R for testing and debugging purposes.
Nice-to-Have:
o Certifications such as Azure Architect or Azure Kubernetes Certified.
o Familiarity with Spark and database functionality for functional testing.
